Client Testimonials

Carenga

“Kate has been a valuable advisor for Carenga. She came in half-way through our product design and pointed to several key accessibility features which we had overlooked. Thanks to her input, we have been able to deliver a final product that is pleasing and easy to navigate for older adults. In the future, our plan is to bring Kate early on in our design process.” — Marguerite Manteau-Rao, Founder, Carenga

Partners In Care (PIC) Maryland

“Thanks also for your assessment and feedback on the Partners In Care website. Although Partners In Care doesn’t have the funding to re-design our website right now, your guidance has been invaluable to me.

I did my best to map out the site on paper. This has helped me understand where things are, and that many pieces aren’t in the most effective location. I’ve truly experienced how difficult it is to navigate the site; and, I know what I am looking for.

Your questions about the purpose of the site have led to heated discussions by staff, provoked by me;), each of whom believes their program needs to be front-and-center. I have suggested that some of the content identified as critical might also be able to be presented in blog form to free up space on the website.

Since you and I first began our conversation, I have begun using MailChimp. One of the advantages of this is that I have metrics that show more than half of the opens are occurring on mobile devices. This is more evidence that a future website re-design will need to be responsive and have text re-sizing capabilities.

In addition to our conversations, the resources you pointed me to on the WiserUsability website have been really helpful. When I am perusing other sites, I frequently observe structure and content that reflects the best practices you have shared with me.” — Barb Cooke, Partners In Care (PIC) Maryland

Access Exchange International (AEI)

“AEI faces daunting challenges in our work to promote public transportation in low-income countries for persons with different types of sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities. On top of this, we found that our website was not useful for some of the very persons who mattered most among the different stakeholders we serve.

As one of Wiser Usability’s first clients, I am more than satisfied with the way our whole website now looks cleaner and more consistent — advantages that came along with the work you did to upgrade accessibility for those who visit our site.

Thanks to Wiser Usability, not only is our website more accessible, but you have presented options to us for further improvements. During the past twenty years I have been hard put to keep up with features to make our site more attractive and useable. It is a relief for an small agency such as AEI to be able to take a big technical leap.

AEI is a small non-profit agency, and it is good to find a technically savvy organization like WiserUsability to stand with us.” — Tom Rickert, Executive Director, Access Exchange International
